Develop Your Artistry This Summer
Study the nuance of the best performers in the world, up-close and personal.
The NYC Summer Workshop is a 3-day deep dive into the real differences between being a dancer,
and a performer that commands the room. Through performance masterclasses with some of the best performers in the world, dancers will focus on choices: the energy you bring into a space, the body language that reads from a distance, and the performance intelligence that makes audiences & directors lean forward.

The NYC Summer Workshop is a three day training experience built to help dancers study the nuance of
elite performers up close and personal, then immediately apply it.
This is not a learn the combo and go home weekend. It is a performance forward intensive where dancers
sharpen how they use energy, body language, and choice to change what an audience feels.
Across three days, dancers train with Preston Miller, Director of Training at The Dance Artist Prep, alongside
two choreographic voices led by Norbert De La Cruz. The workshop culminates in a theater experience where
dancers get to practice performance skills that are usually only developed in high pressure, high stakes moments.
